Saturday

I started a new journal, and I'm not entirely sure what to do with this one. I don't want to lose all my entries.... This will take some thought.

Monday

For having life so easy, I whine an awful lot. I should correct that. I should also study more.
And then she killed her suitemate for taking the longest shower in recorded history.

Really. I need to go to the bathroom here. And I would like to brush my teeth. I'm all about dental hygiene. Hour long showers are for the weak, or for the very, very dirty.

Friday

I must be a geek.

Wednesday

Lately I've been struck with apathy attacks. Many of them. They sort of sneak up on me and pounce when I'm on my way to a class, or getting ready to do homework, and sometimes when I'm not really doing anything at all. I'm under attack! Then there's the sleep monster, who must be paid in hours of sleep. See, um, I owe him a huge debt at this point, and he thinks the best time to collect is when I'm reading my chemistry book. So, if anyone has some shields or something they could load to me, that would be good. Caffeine isn't so much my thing, so it's out.

I need to go read my chemistry book, now.

Monday

In honor of my friend's out-of-service cell phone:

Limerick!
One night the cell phone sighed,
then gave up the ghost and died.
Now dearly departed;
It shall be restarted.
But temporarily it remains fried

Haiku!
Plastic and metal
it sits there- useless. Cell phone
won't take any calls.

Sunday

So. Friday night I went to the music building and watched Turandot with some of my fellow choir members and two chorus members. Apparently they were expecting a lot more people than what showed up, and in preparation had made about twenty or so bags of popcorn. After the movie there was so much left over, I got to take some of it home with me. The movie was pretty good, but I would rather have seen it on stage, because with film you can't chose what you focus on. I would have examined the sets much more being the geek techie that I am. I have a renewed interest in the music for the opera, though, and that's good, and now I have more of an idea about what's going on in the opera as well. Huzzah.

After I got back, a group of us went out on the front lawn which was already muddy and torn up, and played frisbee. Frisbee, of course, in all that mud quickly devolved into a mud war. It was great fun, and everyone got crazy dirty. Then we jumpped in the pond to clean off a bit before going back to our dorms. Great fun. I still had dirt behind my ear the next day even though I showered for about an hour.

Yesterday was the talent show. The first act was three guys; two of them doing Capoeira and the third one break dancing. It was amazing. I'd never heard of Capoeira before, but now I want to learn it. Maybe I'll try to do that this summer. I don't know.

Only five more days until spring break!
