Oi, life is crazy. So, that calc take home test. Pulled an A on it. Go me. Now I have a very solid B in the class rather than the borderline C/B thing I had going on. Also got an A on my last psych test that I didn't even know we were having. Go me. I think I'm going to be able to do this college thing, though I always feel considerably less smart after talking to my friend Adam. But we can't all be geniuses like him...
My grandparents made a quick visit here to see Maya. They got here last night, and they're leaving tomorrow morning, but we got to spend some time with the family, which was nice. They took us out to eat at a steakhouse tonight, which was so good, and they came to choir rehearsal with me today, too.
I did all my laundry at my sister's place last week. I'm not going to have to do laundry again for over a month. You wouldn't believe how much joy I get from that. I think the world needs self cleaning textiles, not twenty years hence, but now.
I'm going to abuse italics in the post. Hope you don't mind.
They let the kiddies come round a day early to get candy at the dorms, so I'll be handing out candy tomorrow evening. I'm so stoked. I decorated the door and got a "dorm sized" (read: pathetically small) pumpkin, and of course, candy, and cupons for free junior frostys at Wendy's. Calc class has been canceled for tomorrow, too. This week is pledge week here, and most of the guys in my calc class are pledging. And the class is primarily guys. During pledge week, guys get almost no sleep at all. So, most of the class was either not there today, or they had the heart to show up, but couldn't stay awake. I mean, it's a 7:45 after all. So. No class tomorrow. This is me not complaining.
I'm actually so tired I've forgotten what I intended to write about, and I think I've rambled enough. Good night.
