Monday
Wow, okay. Lots of time has passed. It's the summer blog slump, I guess. I've noticied it on other sites as well, so I think I'm excused. Anyway...
Visited good ol' Wisconsin last month. Tyler graduated; I was there for that. Finally gave him his birthday present. A nerf gun and batman pajama pants. I think he liked them. Mum and I were there for about four days, and then we left for EC. I stayed with Sierra for three days. She's working at the cinema, now, as is her boyfriend. Consequently, they can both see movies for free, and bring one friend. So, Sierra, her guy, Kinzy, and myself went to see "Down With Love" free of charge. Not the typical movie that I'd go see, but it was alright. Plus, it had Ewan McGregor- you can't beat that.
Friday night, Kinzy and her folks threw me a surprise graduation party, complete with pizza, cake, and most importantly, my friends. A lot of them were out of town (In France, California, and other exotic locales, such as Minnesota,) but it was good to see the ones who were able to come. And it brought my number of graduation parties up to 3. I feel special.
Got back from Wisconsin, and shortly after went to Kentucky. Stayed there a few days, and then spent about a week in Chicago w/ my mom, her two sisters, and my cousin. It was great fun, and the Blue Man Group rocks.
After we got back from that, I got a cold (which I still have) and a sinus infection. Not fun. A few days ago, Mom, Dad, and I went to visit Rachel and Tim; we got to see their new house. Very nice. We had a pleasant but short visit, and now I'm preparing for school this fall. Packing is much more difficult than I anticipated. I'm having trouble leaving most of my books behind. :)
Bought three new DVDs yesterday. Children of Dune, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Men In Black II, used from the local video rental place. They all work fine and my DVD collection is starting to look more like a collection than a joke. Sort of. So, anyway. Yeah. I'm tired.
